We currently have an opening for an Epi Training Coordinator within our Nitride Epi group. This position will be stationed at our facility in Durham, NC.
Summary:
In your training capacity, you will have the opportunity to oversee Nitride Epi floor training and cross-training across all shifts, to be Responsible for development and sustaining of the training within the Nitride Epi department and to Ensure ISO and QS9000 compliance for the department. You’ll have the chance to develop/maintain the department documentation, such as training records, matrices, departmental procedures, etc.
There will also be opportunities to develop course and instructional materials related to training programs, including visual aids; new hire handouts, training exercises, and reference material and you will use these materials to provide training in the areas of Safety awareness, Departmental production procedures, new hires, ISO and QS9000 compliance, etc. This will be your chance to develop a sustainable training program that is both effective and measureable, create and maintain Department Training measurements.
All of this will allow you to drive continuous improvement efforts for training in Nitride Epi. Along with the listed opportunities, you will also be able to participate in all Department Audits within Nitride Epi, such as ISO and QS9000 audits, conduct training sessions/presentations on the production floor or within a training room environment and identify and improve operational Specs, improving both the wording and the look and feel of specs to improve overall understanding of procedures.
Shift: 1st Manufacturing
Requirements:

2 years experience in High Volume Manufacturing as an Operator or Technician or Training Coordinator.

2 Year Technical Degree from an accredited college or technical school.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

More than 3 years experience using at least four of the following software systems; Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Applicant should be able to demonstrate at an expert level.

Proven organizational and technical skills.

Excellent presentation skills, time management skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a strong customer service orientation.

Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of Associates and management, as well as with the public and outside vendors.

Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Must be flexible with hours to ensure overlap with key training resources across all 4 manufacturing shifts.
Preferences:
-
Experience in a Training position - with duties including training development, class instruction or presentation, etc.

Demonstrated skill, knowledge and experience in the field of technical training.
